The founders

Csaba Hetenyi & Kati Ohens

Plantcraft was founded in 2018, by Csaba Hetenyi, and Kati Ohens. At the time they met, Csaba had acquired the rights to a unique food formulation technology and was planning to manufacture pasta in a facility he owned. He hired Kati to develop the strategy for commercializing and monetizing it. While learning about the technology, Kati discovered that it could be used to make groundbreaking plant-based meat alternatives, and she knew that could have a tremendous impact on the environmental causes she cared so deeply about. Together they formed Plantcraft.
