This popular dish can be a snack or a meal in itself and you can change up the filling however you want depending on what you have in your fridge. We used store bought buns and filled them with our spicy pâté for a more piquant flavour.

Ingredients
- 4 bao buns
- 2 chubs of Plantcraft spicy pâté
- 2 carrots
- 1 cup red cabbage
- 2 tbs chipotle sauce
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- Coriander leaves
- Crushed peanuts
Instructions
Steam the buns according to cooking instructions. Finely shred the cabbage, thinly slice the carrots and spring onions. For the dressing, add the chipotle and soy sauce into a dish and mix until combined. To assemble your bao buns, poke the pâté chubs with a knife and spread the pâté on one half of the bun. Layer it with the carrot, red cabbage followed by spring onions. Drizzle the dressing over the veggie pile and finish it off with a sprinkle of crushed peanuts and a few leaves of coriander to taste.
