Your favourite Plantcraft pâté wrapped in puff pastry. Parties, get-togethers, picnics are never complete without these little delicious appetizers. Cut them into bite size portions for kids, have them hot or cold, for breakfast, brunch or dinner. We made a pie crust from scratch but you can use store bought puff pastry.

Ingredients
Simple pie crust
- 1 cup flour
- Pinch of salt
- 150 grams of vegan butter
- Water
Filling
- One small onion
- 1/4 cup of bread crumb
- 2 chubs of Plantcraft pâté
- Grated vegan cheese
Instructions
Pre-heat your oven on high (around 200 degrees) and line a baking tray with baking paper. Add the flour, salt and butter into a bowl, mix all the ingredients adding in some cold water until it forms a dough.
For the filling, sauté the finely chopped onion then let it cool. Mix 2 rolls of Plantcraft pâté, the sautéed onion and the breadcrumb. Roll out your pastry into a rectangle. Fold the pâté mixture onto the long edge of the sheet. Add some grated vegan cheese then carefully roll up your pastry to enclose the filling.
Brush them with plant-based milk then place them on the tray and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden. Serve them with tomato sauce.
